A Safari Car with Dials Built to Last

This one came to us from Road Scholars in Durham, North Carolina, who build Safari cars under their own RB/RS program. The 964 these gauges came out of has already made the Moab trip.

The Dials

New custom dials across the set, in the standard 964 layout. Road Scholars sent a tartan sample to work from. The faces came back black, with the red lines in Kelly green rather than red, on the tachometer and on both combination gauges.

The Tachometer

The tartan pattern itself is printed on the tachometer face in brown, a single color rather than the full plaid, and the face is lettered Safari RB/RS.

Across the Set

Kelly green pointers, painted. New bezels and new glass. The internals of every gauge refurbished, and an LED upgrade throughout.
